Our goal at Illume Academy is to prepare cosmetology students by instilling confidence and expertise that will carry them from the classroom to the salon floor. Illume Academy optimizes the student-teacher ratio so that students will get all the attention and guidance they deserve. Classes will learn hair cutting, hair coloring, perms, styling techniques and various services for hair and nails.
The academy’s program is designed to be completed in less than ten months with students completing 1,500 hours Monday through Friday. All required classroom and floor time will be completed in those hours. On certain Saturdays, the academy will feature optional presentations for students who want to specialize in specific areas of cosmetology. Students will be exposed to eyelashes, extensions, makeup, spray tanning, the marcel curling iron, special occasion hair, and acrylic and dip nails.

Morgan Littlejohn is the owner of Illume Academy. She opened Illume Salon in 2013, where she is a full time cosmetologist. There are 11 cosmetologists at Illume Salon offering a list of services for the public.
Deanna Lewis is head instructor. She has been a licensed cosmetologist for 32 years and got her instructor license in 2017. She is a cosmetologist at Illume Salon, where she specializes in acrylic nails.
